DYDRONOS-10 in Ahmedabad
TabletsDYDROGESTRONE 10MG
Sixty-four brands — analgesics, antibiotics, PPIs, anti-allergy, neuropathy, calcium and iron — mostly 10x10, split between alu-alu and clear blister.
Tablets are the largest part of the UNOS Biotech list at sixty-four brands. Packing is where the cost sits: 10x10 alu-alu puts foil on both faces and gives a proper moisture barrier, clear blister is cheaper and fine for a stable molecule, and 10x15 or 20x10 drops the cost per tablet on lines that compete on rate. Every one is open to contract manufacture under your own brand.

Sixty-four brands, and the pack decides more than people expect.
Alu-alu means aluminium on both faces of the strip. It costs more and it is non-negotiable for anything hygroscopic — clavulanate, serratiopeptidase, the proteolytic enzymes. Leave those in clear blister through an Indian summer and they lose potency on the shelf.
Clear blister is PVC on one side, foil on the other. Cheaper, perfectly adequate for a stable molecule, and it lets a chemist see the tablet.
Strip packs seal units between two foil layers with no cavity at all.
Then there is the count. Most of the range runs 10x10 — a hundred tablets a box. Paracetamol 650 goes 10x15, the diclofenac-potassium pairing goes 20x10, and the B-complex goes 10x30, because on a line where every associate is comparing rates the cost per tablet is the argument.
Sub-ranges here cover analgesics and anti-inflammatories, the oral antibiotic group, PPIs, antihistamines and montelukast combinations, the pregabalin and gabapentin neuropathy pairings, calcium and iron, and the corticosteroids.
UNOS Biotech lists 64 products under Tablets. By dosage form that is 64 tablets. Buyers in Ahmedabad take the range three ways: a district-wise PCD franchise, third party manufacturing under their own brand name, or ordinary distribution against a valid drug licence.
Each line shows what is in the pack and what the pack is. The rate underneath the printed MRP depends on the quantity and the route, which is why it is quoted rather than published.
Printed MRPs across this range run from ₹375.00 to ₹7,550.00, with the middle of the list at ₹1,450.00. The top of the band is about 20.1 times the bottom, which is normal for a group where some lines carry a single inexpensive molecule and others carry a combination with a costly input in it.
That spread is the reason a flat percentage margin across a range rarely works. The rate conversation on the cheap end and the expensive end of this list are different conversations.
3 of the 64 products here do not carry a published MRP on this page; those are confirmed with the rate, because the figure is set against the pack ordered.
Supply of any Tablets product requires a valid drug licence and a GST registration, both in the name of the firm that will be invoiced. For a wholesale buyer the licence is commonly Form 20B and 21B; what matters is that it covers the firm being billed rather than an associated one.
For a third party manufacturing order there is a third document: the trademark registration or application for any brand name to be printed. That one is needed before artwork rather than before dispatch.
A cheaper number on a competing sheet is sometimes a cheaper product and sometimes a different pack. Convert every quotation to a rate per tablet, per bottle or per tube at the stated MRP, ex-factory, GST extra — and the comparison stops being confusing.
The second thing worth checking is what quantity the rate assumes. A number quoted for a full run and a number quoted for a trial batch are both honest and they are not the same offer.
The same Tablets products are supplied three ways. On franchise, an associate gets a district-wise monopoly on the range and the promotional support that goes with it. On third party manufacturing, a marketing company gets the products under its own brand with its own artwork. On distribution, a licensed wholesaler simply buys and resells.
Which one is right depends on whether you are building a brand, building a territory, or filling a gap on a sheet you already have. The product is identical on all three; the commitment is not.
The two layouts that matter on a tablet rate sheet are blister and alu-alu. Blister is clear PVC with foil behind it; alu-alu is aluminium on both faces, costs more, and is a genuine moisture barrier. Which one a formulation needs is a technical question, not a budget one.
This range is almost entirely tablets — 64 of 64 products. That makes the commercial character of the whole group the commercial character of that one form.
Tablets are the cheapest dosage form to pack and the easiest to get wrong. The two layouts that matter on a rate sheet are blister and alu-alu. Blister is clear PVC on the front with foil behind it, which lets a chemist see the tablet and lets moisture in slowly. Alu-alu is aluminium on both faces: opaque, more expensive, and a genuine barrier. A 10x10 box holds a hundred tablets, a 10x15 holds a hundred and fifty, and the second one always looks cheaper per unit on a comparison sheet while tying up half again as much money per box.
Tablets travel better than anything else in a pharma consignment. They do not leak, they do not settle, and a carton that arrives dented usually still has saleable stock inside it. What they do not tolerate is heat and damp together, which is the argument for alu-alu on anything hygroscopic and the reason a godown with a tin roof costs more in write-offs than it saves in rent.
Brand depth inside the range, by stem:
48 of the 64 products here belong to one of these families. For an associate opening a district in Ahmedabad, family depth is a more defensible basket than the same number of unrelated lines, because it covers the spread of one prescriber's writing rather than a thin slice of several.
On third party manufacturing, tablets are the form where the per-unit rate falls fastest with quantity, because tooling and changeover are spread over a bigger run. Ask for the rate at two quantities rather than one.
Appointments are district-wise and subject to the district still being open. Send your district and your drug licence details and you will be told plainly whether it is.
Yes. Any product in this range can be manufactured as third party manufacturing under your brand. You keep the brand, the trademark and the market; you will need a drug licence and GST registration in the invoicing firm's name plus trademark details for the name being printed.
64 at present. Composition, pack and printed MRP for each are listed on this page, and all of them are supplied on the same three routes.
It differs by product and by dosage form — a tablet in alu-alu, a syrup and an injection are three different figures. Send the products and quantities you have in mind and the minimums come back with the rates.
No. The printed MRP is shown against each product; net rate, PTR and PTS are worked against that MRP and depend on the quantity and the route, which is why they are quoted rather than published.
Yes, on every route. A valid drug licence and a GST registration in the name of the firm being invoiced are required for distribution, for a franchise appointment and for a third party manufacturing order alike.
Yes, subject to that product's own minimum order quantity. A franchise appointment covers the range rather than a single line, because a monopoly on one product is not a territory.
Send the products and quantities you want from the Tablets range, together with the district you are working in Ahmedabad, and you will get net rates against the printed MRPs, the minimum order quantities and a lead time. Say whether this is for distribution, for a franchise appointment or for your own brand and the reply will be specific to that. Call 8264472179 or use the enquiry form.
Send the quantity you need against the pack shown above and we come back with the rate, the minimum order quantity and a lead time. Rates are quoted ex-Chandigarh, freight extra at actuals, GST as applicable to the product category, payment in advance. Expiry and breakage claims are not entertained, which is why the shelf life on the batch you are offered is worth asking about when you order rather than afterwards.
Two documents decide whether an order can be invoiced at all, and they are the same two on all three routes: a valid drug licence in the name of the firm being invoiced — commonly Form 20B and 21B for a wholesaler — and GST registration in that same firm's name. The name on the licence and the name on the invoice have to match; an order held at dispatch is almost always held because they did not.
A third party manufacturing order needs one more: the trademark registration, or the application number, for any brand name you intend to print. That is needed before artwork rather than before dispatch, which gives it a longer runway and makes it easier to forget. Cartons, foils, labels and inserts are produced against artwork you approve before a batch is scheduled, not after it.
If you are applying for a licence now, that is a normal place to be starting from. The quotation can be worked out in the meantime — only the dispatch waits on the paperwork.
Four terms carry every franchise conversation in this industry, and mixing them up is how two quotations get compared that were never comparable:
Those last four words matter more than anything else on this list. Two offers quoting the same PTS are not the same offer if one is ex-factory with freight at actuals and the other is landed at your godown. Before comparing anybody's rate with anybody else's, put both on the same basis: per tablet, bottle or tube rather than per box, since pack sizes differ; against the printed MRP, since the margins are built from it; and ex-factory rather than landed, since freight is a real number and a quotation that has absorbed it has also hidden it. The second thing worth checking is what quantity a rate assumes — a number for a full run and a number for a trial batch are both honest and they are not the same offer.
Franchise appointments are granted by district rather than by state or by city, and they cover the range rather than a single product. Both of those are deliberate. A monopoly on one line is not a territory — an associate who holds one finds the rest of the segment arriving in their market through somebody else. And the practical test of a monopoly is simple: if a company cannot tell you who else holds your district, it is not granting one.
Building a prescriber relationship takes months of visits. An associate who finds a second supplier's representative in the same waiting room has lost those months, which is the whole reason the appointment is written the way it is.
It is shorter than most people expect, and the order of the steps matters because each one depends on the last:
UNOS Biotech is a pharma marketing company. Products are manufactured at licensed third-party units and marketed under the UNOS Biotech name, or under yours. That is the normal structure for most of the PCD and franchise market in this country, and it is worth understanding rather than guessing at, because it tells you what questions are reasonable.
Reasonable: ask for the composition, the pack, the printed MRP, the batch documentation that travels with the goods, and the shelf life on what you are being offered. Not reasonable, and a warning sign when a supplier answers it anyway: asking a marketing company for a plant certification it does not hold. A company that will claim one it has not got will also claim a lead time it cannot meet.
Goods move by surface transport from Chandigarh unless something else is agreed, and the packing is specified for that journey rather than for an ideal one. Every consignment travels with its batch documentation. Composition, pack size and printed MRP are exactly as shown on this page — those are the details on the pack itself.
UNOS BIOTECH PVT. LTD. is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. That is a quality management system standard, and it is the only certification claimed anywhere on this site. No plant certification, foreign regulatory approval or government endorsement is claimed, because none is held.
The restraint is deliberate and it protects everybody downstream. A distributor who repeats a certification their supplier invented is the one standing in front of the buyer when it gets checked. For anything clinical, what a product contains is stated on the pack, and how it should be used is a matter for a registered medical practitioner and the pack insert — not for a supplier's catalogue page.
Call 8264472179 with the quantity, your district and which of the three routes you are asking about, and the reply will be specific to that.
Dispatch is from Panchkula, Haryana, in the Chandigarh tricity. Terms are the same in every district — they are on the price list and they are on this page.
Every district below has its own page. Territory availability changes as associates are appointed, so confirm yours before you plan a launch.
No district matches that. Ask about your district.
Tablets supplied state by state. Open your state to find your district — each one has a page of its own, with the same range and the same terms.
Four steps, in this order, whichever city you are in.
Your firm name, the district you work in and the segments you already sell.
Whether that district is open for Tablets, and which neighbouring ones are.
Net rate, PTR and PTS against the printed MRP, with a starter basket for the segment.
Valid drug licence and GST registration, then the territory is agreed on monopoly rights.
Send your firm name, district and the segments you work in — we reply with availability, the product list and rates for Tablets.
